On August 18, 2006 the literary community will be dazzled as they witness some of Detroit's finest authors and writers take center stage at the first ever Annual Black Tie Literary Gala presented by Second Time Media & Communications.
This red carpet event will serve as the debut for many aspiring authors. It will also commence the official introduction to Second Time Media & Communications and its founder, Erica N. Martin's third book, Straight with no Chaser.
Essence bestselling author, Victor McGlothin will serve as the keynote speaker. The urban contemporary wordsmith, Jamal 'Versiz' May will also grace the stage with his always progressive style. The soiree for literacy will include a delectable strolling buffet with hot and cold beverages. It will be held at Detroit's hidden Jewel, The Winder Inn.
